RIDE THE REVOLUTION – ridiculously powerful, crazy fast and extremely efficient! We have skilfully replaced the traditional front derailleur on our beloved BACKROAD with the new, one of a kind technology from CLASSIFIED: POWERSHIFT. This 2-speed shifting technology is fully integrated into the rear hub and enables you to simply and precisely shift in a fraction of a second, under full load on any terrain. With just a tap of the shift lever, you send a lightning-fast wireless signal to trigger a shift. The Smart Thru Axle in the rear hub receives this signal and switches between two gear ratios. In short: With the revolutionary shifting system from CLASSIFIED, our versatile and elegant BACKROAD rides smoothly in two gear ratios, without the need for a front derailleur or second chainring. The CLASSIFIED hub does it all, providing 22 gears, small gear steps and a 451% gear range, but without a front derailleur – technology that creates goosebumps and a clean bike appearance.
At the heart of this speeding bullet is a stylish frame concept with excellent ride qualities, great features as well as thought-out details. The ROSE Square stem emphasizes the uncompromising design DNA of our BACKROAD. Internally routed brake and gear cables give the cockpit even more elegance and skills: Features, such as the outstanding stiffness values thanks to a wide handlebar clamp, a front plate that is compatible with a Garmin mount, and a stem cap with flat top surface integrated in the design, round off the all-in-one ROSE Square stem. Our ROSE R Thirty Disc LIGHT wheels have all the makings for pure gravel fun and even better rides on rough terrains. They are equipped with Continental Terra Speed tyres which provide comfort, good grip, and first-class rolling characteristics.

I told myself that all I had to do was fit it and enjoy it straight away. But it turned out to be a lot of trial-and-error adjusting. There's also no support that lists the numbers of the various parts in case they need replacing. As I've already pointed out, unfortunately the rear derailleur wasn't adjusted, but what was more dramatic was that the classified system wasn't working. I contacted rose, and they assured me that the whole adjustment had been done, Impossible ! then that the classified system was defective. Nothing was taken care of by Rose. So I turned to classified. They asked me for a lot of information. They had some faulty parts and confirmed that the functionality tests could not be carried out. The system was replaced by classified.
Bike ordered in May and 1st use in mid-July. If it hadn't been for the replacement from classified, I'm not sure I would have been able to take full advantage of it yet. Despite this mishap, the bike is very comfortable and responsive. I've bough a 2nd set of road wheels and it's just as suitable for gravel as it is for road. Unfortunately I can't rate the bike as highly as it deserves (4.5/5) solely because of Rose's appalling ASS.

Grundsätzlich ein mega-cooles Bike und vor allem die Classified Nabe ist einfach der Hammer. Aufbau und Laden der Akkus für die Schaltung war bislang kein Problem. Was aber ganz grundsätzlich viel besser geht ist das Unboxing. Wenn ich ein so hochwertige Bike kaufe dann kann man zumindest erwarten, das entsprechende Anleitungen für die Schaltung beiliegen. Auch ein schönes Unboxing-Video wäre sehr hilfreich. Da ist die Konkurrenz aus Koblenz z.B. noch meilenweit voraus...

Diese Bewertung bezieht sich auf die Qualität des Auslieferungzustandes. Das Bike selber entspricht meinen Erwartungen:
- keine Batterie war geladen
- die Gänge waren grottig eingestellt
- ganzheitliche Dokumentation Fehlanzeige
- untere Schrauben des Vorbaus nicht angezogen.
Liebe Rose - Leute: Das geht doch bestimmt besser! Ein zeitgleich geliefertes Canyon Rad meines Sohnes wurde mit Schritt für Schritt Videoanleitungen geliefert. Eine App welches die Daten seines Rades enthielt ist vorbildlich.
Nach 300km mit dem Rad kann ich nichts negatives sagen. Es macht mega Spaß zu fahren.

Leider kann ich nichts positives über das Backroad classified oder das Unternehmen Rose sagen.
Nachdem das Fahrrad bereits einige Wochen (4) zu spät geliefert wurde, war von Anfang an die Schaltung bei Abholung in München defekt. Also direkt da gelassen und mir wurde eine zügige Reperatur versprochen. Das hier die Qualitätskontrolle versagt hat, ist das eine. Was mich aber wirklich ärgert, ist dass 5 Wochrn später das Bike noch immer in Reparatur ist und KEINERLEI Kommunikation von Rose stattfindet. Ich telefoniere hinterher- die versprochenen Rückrufe finden nicht statt- ich gehe wieder in den Laden und werde von Servicetechniker angepflaumt warum ich denn Nachfrage. Mich stört hier wirklich am meisten, dass keine Kommunikation existiert. Es ist leider kein Ende in Sicht, das Bike will ich nicht mehr haben und ich kann absolut nicht empfehlen bei Rose zu kaufen.

Tolles Bike aber Kundenfaszination geht anders. Keine passende Anleitung, die auf die Classified Komponenten eingeht. Der Aufbau ist Try&Error. Die Schaltung war leider sehr schlecht eingestellt, möchte man einen Servicetermin buchen, so muss man 7 Monate warten. Für mich bei diesem Preis unfassbar.

Das Fahrrad ist sicherlich sehr gut, aber die Unboxing Experience geht besser.
Es liegt eine leicht verständliche Anleitung bei. Allerdings bezieht sich diese ausschließlich auf die Teile von Rose selbst. Das kann zu Missverständnissen im Zusammenhang mit den Komponenten der anderen Hersteller führen. Z. Bsp. wunderte ich mich über das Kabel, welches aus dem Sitzrohr kam. Ich hatte keine Ahnung, wofür das war. Letztendlich stellte sich heraus, dass die Sattelstütze einen integrierten Akku der Shimano Funkschaltung besaß, welcher mit diesem Kabel verbunden werden muss. Des weiteren muss man beim Einsetzen der Sattelstütze aufpassen, dass das Kabel sich nicht verklemmt. Auf Grund eines Kabelbruchs konnte der Akku nicht geladen werden.
Es liegt keine vernünftige Bedienungsanleitung von Shimano bei. Auch keine "Schnellanleitung" bezogen auf die verbauten Komponenten.
Um den Batteriezustand der Classified Steckachse zu prüfen, habe ich sie herausgedreht. Nach dem Check ließ sie sich nicht mehr befestigen. Das Gewinde am Ende der Steckachse griff nicht mehr in den Rahmen.

Rad ist klasse, aber nach nur 500 km ist die Classified Nabe defekt. Nun musste das Rad eingeschickt werden und ich bin seit 2 Wochen ohne Fahrrad..,

Was soll ich sagen, die ursprüngliche Lieferzeit wurde um 10 Wochen verlängert, dabei war ein bestellgrund, dass das bike innerhalb 10 Wochen geliefert wird. Das Geld wurde vorab kassiert, eine Rechnung gibt’s nicht… ob das bike gut kann ich erst dann sagen.

Ein unglaublich schönes und spritziges bike mit top Komponenten.
Was ich besonders hervorheben möchte ist der Service einerseits in Bochholt aber insbesondere des Kölner Rose Stores.
Was mir die Mitarbeiter geholfen haben, und wie Sich reingegangen haben damit mir bei einem speziellen Problem geholfen wird-ist nicht selbstverständlich.

Vom Fahrrad bin ich absolut begeistert, muss aber leider sagen, dass das sture Verhalten einzelner Mitarbeiter diese Begeisterung vollkommen zunichte macht. Wer glaubt, dass er ein Premium-Bike bei einem Premium-Hersteller kauft, liegt zumindest mit der letzteren Annahme falsch. Sehr schade, aber das war definitiv das letzte Fahrrad dieses Herstellers.
